It was my daughter Tahlia’s first trip to outback Qld and she was simply blown away by the property.
Honestly, I have done holidays in many places including overseas and Lanarium Retreat would rank amongst the best places I have ever been too, we will absolutely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later!
What an amazing experience we had on this property. Accommodation was fantastic just so much history being a converted shearing shed. The property its self has everything from crop fields, open paddocks and dense wooden areas with hidden water holes. Can’t recommend it enough for a great get away. The only problem was having to leave and go home.
If I could give 6 stars, I would. A terrific place to visit, to do as much or little as you like.
The food was exceptional, plenty of wood, buggy to drive around the property. Well worth the drive to get there!!!!
Paul and Sally, what an incredible place you have created….we loved every minute….the food was divine, yabbies were great, riding out in the buggy to feel the country and see the cows was a highlight, thank you for creating and sharing Lanarium Retreat.

A great break from the noisy city. The woolshed reminded us of bygone years. Very nicely appointed. Don’t miss the sunrise or the stars at night. Majestical around the campfire also. Thank you both.
